Booking terms & cancellation

These terms apply to every appointment booked with Dolly Sets, a home-based nail technician in Llanrumney, Cardiff. By booking an appointment you agree to them. They don't affect your statutory rights.

Booking

• Appointments are booked through this website. Your time is held as soon as you receive your booking reference.
• We'll confirm your appointment with you. If we can't fit you in, we'll let you know and the time will be released.
• Please give us correct contact details so we can reach you about your appointment.

Prices and payment

• Prices are shown on our price list, and your total is shown before you confirm your booking.
• The price agreed when you book is the price you pay, even if our prices change later, unless you change your set at your appointment.
• Payment is made in person at your appointment, by cash or bank transfer. We don't take card payments online.

Deposits

• When we ask for a deposit (currently £5), your appointment is confirmed once the deposit has been received.
• The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel late or don't turn up.
• When you come to your appointment and have your nails done, your deposit is given back to you.

Cancelling or changing your appointment

• If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours beforehand.
• If you cancel with less notice or don't turn up, any deposit will be kept, and we may ask for a deposit before accepting future bookings.
• If we ever need to cancel or move your appointment, we'll tell you as soon as possible and offer you a new time. If you paid a deposit, you'll get it back in full.

Late arrivals

• Please arrive on time. If you're more than 15 minutes late we may need to simplify your design or rebook you, so the next customer isn't kept waiting.

Where we are

• We're home-based in Llanrumney, Cardiff. The full address is sent to you 48 hours before your appointment. Please don't share it with anyone else.

Your nails

• Inspiration pictures are very welcome. Some designs may need adapting to suit your nail length or shape, and we'll talk this through with you first.
• If you have existing nails that need removing, please add a soak-off when you book.
• Please tell us about any allergies, or any skin or nail conditions, before your appointment. For your safety, we may not be able to go ahead with some treatments.
• If you have a problem with your set, please contact us within 48 hours. We'll take a look and put it right where it's our fault.
